Rinos at Eurobike 2025 — Our Frankfurt Report

Every August, Frankfurt hosts the cycling industry's most important trade show. This year, the Rinos team made the trip to Eurobike 2025 with a clear goal: find what's genuinely new, what actually works, and what deserves a place in our lineup.

Why Eurobike Matters

Eurobike isn't just a trade fair. It's where manufacturers reveal the year's innovations, where trends get confirmed or quietly dropped, and where purchasing decisions for the next season take shape. For Rinos, attending has always been strategic — not to chase trends, but to carefully select what's worth bringing to our customers.

Key Trends from 2025

The dominant theme this year was simplification. After years of growing complexity — electronic groupsets, suspension with multiple modes, telemetry systems — many manufacturers seem to have recognised that cyclists want reliability and ease of use above all else.

  • Hybrid drivetrains: Several brands are presenting solutions that combine electronic precision with mechanical robustness — less battery dependency, same shifting quality.
  • Evolved gravel tyres: The trend toward wider, mixed-surface tyres continues. 45-50mm is becoming the standard for versatile gravel.
  • Sustainable materials: Some companies are showcasing carbon fibre frames with reduced-emission production processes — still niche, but the direction is clear.

What Genuinely Excited Us

The standout development for us was the evolution of the Shimano GRX system in its third generation. Changes to the tooth profile on chainrings and new rear derailleur geometry translate to quieter, more precise shifting even with wide tyres and mud-loaded chains.

What We're Taking Home

Our philosophy doesn't change: we offer high-performance bikes at fair prices, without middlemen. What we saw at Eurobike reinforces this conviction. The most useful innovations aren't necessarily the most expensive — often they're the most intelligently designed.
